Exciting things are happening at Team TLC NYC! 

GIVING TUESDAY is this Tuesday December 3. Please consider a donation this holiday season---$5, $20, $50--it ALL counts. Donations are now tax-deductible, click here to donate. 

We're also happy to announce that our website has a fresh, new look! Please read through it and share, share, share it with others:  www.teamtlcnyc.org. We can grow and better support asylum-seeking families in need with your help spreading the word. This is a simple way to participate that helps us provide urgent support to our Team TLC NYC families. 

Finally, Team TLC NYC has some wonderful news! We have formed a partnership with, and are now an affiliated group of, Grannies Respond/ Abuelas Responden, Inc. -- meaning we are now able to collect tax-deductible donations!  We know that our relationship with Grannies Respond/Abuelas Responden, Inc. will further enhance the help we offer to asylum seekers. The Grannies Respond mission is to provide and elicit compassionate and respectful support for asylum seekers and immigrants who are seeking safety and security in the U.S. After a widely publicized trip to the border in Summer 2018, the Grannies incorporated as a nonprofit, gained several chapters, launched the Overground Railroad project, and continued to serve asylum seekers in various ways. We are thrilled to join them as an affiliated group.

Team TLC NYC assists and supports individuals and families after they are released from ICE detention facilities and arrive in NYC to await their court dates.  We respond rapidly to urgent basic human needs and provide aid such as warm clothing, hot meals, and personal necessities. We are a community rooted in support and belonging while acting in service to these families.
