How it works

Arrive and check in (we’ll train you on-site)
Pitch in - we’ll match you to a role
Roles include: greeting guests, managing flow, language translation, helping guests with services, and childcare
What to know before you come:
Wear comfortable shoes
Expect to stand/move for parts of the shift
Arrive 10 minutes early

Volunteer with the Legal Team
We offer monthly Zoom training sessions on asylum and work authorization forms, as well as additional asylum-related topics. The topics and current schedule can be viewed on the Sign-Up Genius link below. PRO SE ASYLUM AND TPS CLINICS: We provide guidance to recent immigrants on completing their asylum, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and work authorization applications in our pro se (self-representation) legal clinics. Lawyers, lay people, and translators (Spanish, French, Arabic, and Wolof) are needed. Training will be provided.
