OUR PRO SE CLINICS AND LEGAL TRIAGE TABLES CONTINUE!
We offer monthly zoom trainings related to the asylum and work authorization forms, as well as additional asylum-related topics. The topics and current schedule can be viewed on the Sign-Up Genius link below.
PRO SE ASYLUM AND TPS CLINICS: We provide guidance to recent immigrants in the completion of their asylum, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and work authorization applications, in our pro se (self-representation) legal clinics. Lawyers, lay people, and translators (Spanish, French, Arabic, and Wolof) are needed. Training will be provided. LEGAL TRIAGE: On Thursday from 12-3 at Metro Baptist Church, 410 W. 40th Street, we run a legal triage table to answer questions, review papers, and provide simple services (e.g., change of address).
